Announcing an all new Paddlefest!

You’ve been asking for it, so we are delivering a brand new event for Paddlefest 2024 in association with the Mississippi Earthtones Festival in Alton, Illinois.

Bring your boat down to the banks of the Mississippi River and join us on a float trip down the Mighty Mississippi River under the watchful eye of safety boaters from multiple paddling organizations around the bi-state area. We will offer a variety of paddle distances to choose for your paddling ability level. Regardless of where you start along the Water Trail, the float will end at the Mississippi Earthtones Festival where you can enjoy music, booths, food and beverage with your paddle buddies!

We will offer boats to rent, shuttle service, and camping on the event weekend.

Participants must be 16 and older with properly fitted US Coast Guard life vests worn at all times. Minimum boat length of 12 feet to participate.

* Are you new to paddling or not ready for paddling on the main river channel? We will offer Introductory, Beginner and Intermediate Skills Clinics throughout the season. Our Introductory Clinic will be held Saturday, June 1st for those paddlers 12 and older.
