Are you new or newer to paddling, or just want to improve your existing kayak skills? Join us for this 2-day training class where you will learn paddle strokes, maneuvers, river hazards, how to plan a trip, self-rescues and more. The skills class is a prerequisite for becoming a Level 2 Instructor, but anyone is welcome! Most of this course will take place in Ellis Bay in West Alton, MO, in the calm backwaters of the Mississippi River. Plan to get wet!
